I received an email notification announcing the shutdown of cloud services for Komfy Smart Switch, is it true and what do I do now?

Thank you for being a dedicated D-Link customer, as a leader in home automation, networking and security we strive to create new and innovative products to make users homes smarter, safer and more secure. In order to continue providing the best user experience possible we have decided to shift our focus to our mydlink Camera Ecosystem and thus we will be discontinuing the Komfy Switch with Camera and terminating Cloud service and support of this product on December 30, 2016. With discontinuation of service the Komfy will no longer be functional and product warranty will be void. For affected customers, we will offer a product refund or exchange for a D-Link Wi-Fi Camera to those with proof of purchase of Komfy. Below is the refund policy:

 

Discontinued Products:

  • DKZ-201S/W (White)
  • DKZ-201S/D (Black)

 

Required Documents:

  • Proof of purchase
  • Serial number, MAC Address or Registered Accounto

 

PLEASE NOTE: Refunds will only be accepted until 12am PST December, 30th 2016.

 

Exchange or Refund

  • Product refund
  • Exchange for 1 - Full HD 180-Degree Wi-Fi Camera (DCS-2630L) 

 

Professional Installation

An additional refund, of up to $100, will be offered to users who received professional installation (receipt required).
