How do I upgrade the firmware on my DNR-202L

Step 1: Download the latest firmware for your DNR-202L at http://support.dlink.com/DNR-202L (under Downloads). It is suggested to download the firmware somewhere it can easily be found, such as your desktop.

 

Note: The firmware file will be in a ZIP file. You will need to extract the .bin file using the built-in Windows extractor or using Winzip/WinRar/StuffIt.  .bin files cannot be "opened" or "ran". It must be loaded through the NVR. 

 

 

Step 2: Once you have downloaded the firmware, log in to your DNR-202L using a web browser -  How do I log in to my DNR-202L? 

 

Step 3: Click on the Settings icon on the left and then click Firmware Upgrade. Click the Browse button and browse to the .bin file you downloaded in Step 1.

 

 

Step 4: Click Update to begin the upgrade process. It may take a up to 4 minutes for the upgrade to complete. Follow on-screen prompts to finish.

 

 

The firmware is now be upgraded.
