Why cant the server attached to the xStack Storage unit recognize larger volumes?

Please remember that even though the xStack Storage unit has no problem creating large volumes, your server or workstation's operating system may not support that large a volume. For example, a Windows XP machine will not be able to recognize volumes larger than 2 TeraBytes in size.
