Step 1: Connect to the Storage unit with a serial cable and access the CLI with any Terminal client.

Step 2: Reboot the SAN. The SAN will go through a boot process and you will notice 2 break points to stop Auto boot. It will ask you to Hit any key for both break points. Skip the 1st break point!. As soon as you see the 2nd break, Hit the Enter key to stop autostart.

You will then be prompted to select an option 1-4. Enter in the number 1 and hit enter.



Step 3: Enter the number 4 to continue with boot operation.



Your Password has now been reset. Continue with a complete boot and your login credentials are back to default settings.
