How do I configure Scenes with the mydlink app?

NOTE: Scenes lets you quickly execute multiple device actions with one simple tap. In this example the Home Scene will turn Privacy Mode ON for a camera and turn on a smart-plug. The Away Scene will turn OFF Privacy Mode and will turn off the smart-plug.

 

Step 1: Tap the menu icon on the top left.

 

 

Step 2: Tap Scenes.

 

 

Step 3: Tap Start.

 

 

Step 4: Tap Home.

 

 

Step 5: Select the camera that you want to set privacy mode to ON, then tap Next.

 

 

Step 6: Configure your Scene.

 

  • Set Home to Turn On
  • Set Away to Turn Off

 

 

 

Step 7: Tap Save. 

 

 

Step 8: Tap the + sign. Note this setup requires a smart plug to be already setup on your account.

 

 

Step 9: Select your smart plug then tap Next.

 

 

Step 10: Configure your Scene.

 

  • Set Home to Turn On
  • Set Away to Turn Off 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 11: Tap Save.

 

 

Step 12: Tap the back arrow.

 

 

Step 13: Tap the back arrow again.

 

 

Step 14: Tap on the Scene icon, and select the appropriate Scene.
