D-Link Systems, Inc. recommends retiring these products and replacing them with products that receive firmware updates.
Can the event log be cleared on my DSN Series SAN?

Yes, but it will require that you restore the xStack Storage unit to factory defaults through the management GUI.


Note: Restoring factory defaults will require the unit to reboot, whereupon a new event log file is created.
